Further reading on blog

Like so many blog posts, we have recommendations on the page. Is it possible to set up in the back-end, a way for the client to select the posts that will be display. This way I can expand the control they have over content.

What are you looking to do?

So I would like to make it so that they have four slots at the end of a blog post, which they can fill by select four post from all there blog post. was thinking along the lines of the data select field. So they could call a list of all post, then select and this would display thumbnail and title.....

This is rather than being driven up similar categories or date of published.

You'd need a blog post field type for that - I'm not aware of one, but it's something that should be easy to create.

so how would I go about doing this then?

I would have a tag which get called via the template blog post array. It would not be pretty like your requesting. The client would have to survey all the posts and choose and tag each one.

That seems very messy way, especially if one letter out of place would throw an error on the page. any other suggestions
