CK editor link button

I'm using ckeditor as the text editor on a site I'm working on and was wondering if there was an easier way to link to pages within the site without having to copy and paste a URL from the public facing site? Is there a way to list all the pages that are on the site and allow a user to choose from these? I've been using the pagelinks fieldtype throughout the site elsewhere but haven't seen anyway to integrate this into ckeditor.

I've not developed anything like that for CKEditor, but someone could.

No worries. I think it would be a good addition to the functionality of ckeditor and would be good for the user as your removing a couple of steps in the creating a link process.

Another question: With the pagelinks fieldtype can you also enable it to display blog posts or categories in the dropdown menu as well as pages?

No, it just does pages.
