Email Response From Forms

How do I edit the layout of the message content that gets sent to us and the sender?

Currently using the default I get:

You have received a new enquiry:

Name: Steve Smith
Telephone: 01234 567890
Email: steve.smith@smithsonian.co.uk
Message:
I need some work doing!

But what I would like is just the content, not the field names? Is this possible and what file do I edit?

It's possible to create HTML email templates https://docs.grabaperch.com/addons/forms/examples/email-templates/

Thanks, I see that. Was hoping to edit the plain text version as trying to avoid html for an autoresponse. Wonder what would happen if you just put text in that without any html formatting?

You'd get an HTML email with no HTML formatting.

I'd not bother with trying to avoid HTML email these days. That battle was fought and lost, unfortunately.

Oh okay, dont disagree on HTML, just trying not to have emails go to spam or not get received. Is there a way to treat internal and external responses separately?

Yes, they have different templates.

Oh okay, do they have to go in different folders or be named differently?

No, you just pick the template you want to use for each purpose in the UI.
