Forms Autoresponse not sending

Hi,

I can't figure out why the autoresponse is not sending. When the form is submitted..
1. Store Responses is checked and the from is being stored.
2. Sending Email is checked and this email is sent fine.
3. Autoresponse is checked, but no email is sent. I have set plain text.

I have check junk, spam ect. and nothing is sent.

My Diagnostics report...

Can you otherwise send email from Perch to this address?

Yes, perch will send the "Sending Email" just fine. I have tried many different emails for the auto response and I'm not getting anything.

If you switch to HTML rather than plain text, does that make a difference?

I can only select Plain Text under autoresponse template. The other option is No Template. I'm not sure how to make a template available in this field.

I believe you just create them in perch/templates/forms/emails

That did not work either. But good to know how to make email templates now :)

If you turn on debug and submit the form, what output do you get?

I get this same output before and after I submit the form.

So no email are being sent now?

No I'm still not getting email from the autoresponse.

To further text I installed a fresh version of perch on anther domain.
Added the forms plugin.
Created a form template with Name and Email fields.
Added the region to the example.php page provided in the perch install.
Configured the form settings.

After submitting the form I still only get the "Sending email" reply.
The "Autoresponse" is not sent.

I have tried several email address in the in the form template, but I do not get autoresponse to any of them.

Can you show me the debug when that happens? You should see the email being sent as part of the output.

Here is the debug..

Yup, it's certainly not sending. It's not just you!

I'll run some tests and see what I can come up with.

ok thanks!

Hi Drew

Any movement on this? I took your advice in my own thread and created an HTML template but no luck.

Thanks

I am having this same issue on a clients server - was this ever resolved?
