Yes. Have been logged out after 20 seconds and/or 5-10 minutes.

It's not. This happens on a brand new site and older sites build with Perch.

Yes all sites are on the same server.

No. Have multiple users logged in at the same time but with different accounts.

Yes. Im not sure if its has anything to do with this but Ive got a "Error 503 Backend fetch failed" message once.
