Asset thumbnails gone

This happened after i empty the /perch/resourses folder.
If you emptied the folder you will have removed them.
Do some information about these images get stored somewhere else? When i drop the exact same image in the asset folder again later, the thumbnail is still gone, but when i drop an image which have not been dropped before i get an thumbnail.
While the "information" about an asset is in the database the asset itself will be stored where you have the settings set for. By default, assets will be stored in perch/resources. If you delete these assets the "information" will not be updated unless you go through the asset management app to do the deleting.
Deleting an asset (or file) directly will cause broken links to these items if they are not removed through the same method used to create.
Thank you! Will be more careful when deleting resources from now on, if not delete them through asset management app.
