I destroyed Shortcodes

I tried to tinker with Shortcodes and seem to have broken something. When I try to employ any kind of Shortcode, e. g.

[cms:asset 310]

and save the page, I get an "HTTP ERROR 500".
Now I am stuck and can't get Shortcodes up and running again.
Is there a possibility to reset Shortcodes?
Any suggestions are welcome.

Do you mean you created a shortcode handler?

Yes I did.
I used Scott Gruber App (https://github.com/scottgruber/pixelfix_shortcodes?utm_campaign=Perchology&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Perchology_22) as a basis and messed around with that. Too hard, obviously. :(

So remove what you added and get it back to a working state and then go from there.

That easy, huh? ;)
Tried that and at least "resetting" the original functionality worked.
Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction.
Still I am able to mess things up and make it stop working when trying to implement my own shortcode. I'll learn, though. :)
