Paypal Shop - Cookies?

I'm using the 1.1.2 Paypal Shop (looking forward to the new Shop!).

Does the Perch Paypal Shop code use cookies?

(I dont use them anywhere else on my site, but if this uses them I need to add the cookie consent acceptance code)

It stands to reason that the PayPal side of things must, in order to maintain the cart.

Yes I knew paypal needs cookies - I'm hoping the perch shop code doesnt use them.

Is this correct?

Surely it has to use them to remember what people put in their baskets?

But the basket is in Paypal. I'm just worried about the perch shop bit.

I think to be safe, if you're worried about cookies I'd put the warning on regardless. Even if it is just the PayPal side of things that uses them, I'd expect a site that uses/relies on a process that uses cookies to include that in it's own cookie warning.

Thanks - sounds sensible. Still - if anyone knows whether the Perch (not Paypal) side of things using cookies that would be really useful to know.

Perch doesn't set cookies for that - the cart is on PayPal.

What cookies are you seeing in your browser?

Thanks - I couldnt see any but thought I might be missing something. This is how I hoped it worked. Thanks
