Which one is the suggested or is it just down to what you prefer?
It depends on your content.
If it is a lot of content then use a multiple item region, repeaters should only be used for small bits of content - adding multiple images or list items etc.

After all that I think Blocks maybe the most appropriate for what I want! :)
