Pages App Issues

I have created a section page with Pages and ticked "This page will have more pages below it" and then done the same for the page below it as have Section/Subsection/Service.

When I test the pages the main section loads fine and so does the service, but the middle page Subsection will not open with a "too many redirects" error. What might be causing this?

Also I notice some older pages created folders on the server but cannot delete these due to ftp errors possibly caused by permissions. How do I delete these and could these be causing the issues?
