creating 404 page
I am trying to figure out how to create a custom 404 page, don't know how yet. It would be nice if in Perch you can make a error.php that would automatically be used when there is an error.
Or is there any app or something or setting that does this for me?
You would make a 404 page just as normal. For example: https://www.htaccessbasics.com/404-custom-error-page/
Perch doesn't manage that for you but you can create a page that is editable in Perch then set that as a 404 page.
