How do you delete the image from blog app?

I'm using Perch 2.5 and Blog 4.1

I can't appear to delete the image from a blog post in the control panel. Select "remove" tick box > save post

All I can do is to replace the image with a different one.

Surely this is not intended behaviour? (This might be related to my other question about cropping size of the blog thumbnail image).
