Assign expiring tags to Members outside of Perch admin
Drew, There are a couple of references you make to applying expiring tags to members from a page in the Members app.
"I don't think you can give a default tag an expiry at the moment. You could give them some sort of 'new member' tag by default, and then add code to your page to swap that for an expiring tag when present."
Looking in the docs there doesn't seem to be anything about swapping an expiring tag for a sign-up default tag. Is this possible?
What do you mean by swapping? Removing the expiry date?

Basically, the person asks if we can apply expiry dates by default on registration and you say no but that you could give them a tag by default and then apply code to 'swap' that default tag out for an expiring tag instead.
Is that any clearer?
So the swapping is actually about adding an expiry date.

I'm wondering how that might be done. If it's not possible then it's just a limitation but if it can be done, it would be really useful.
