How do I set a dynamic email address in the form app?
Hi, I know this couldn't be done before but I'm wondering if there have been updates on this - is a way yet of providing user submitted details in a contact form email?
So instead of the form being submitted with a static 'From' address, the 'From' address actually becomes the address of the person that submitted the contact form.
So if Jane Smith submits information via a contact form and her email is janesmith@email.com, then her email address would become the 'From' field when a notification email gets sent to the 'To' address.
Is that possible?
Yes, that's possible (see the instructions in the sidebar on the form options) but it's not advisable. Unless your server is authorised to send email from the visitor's domain (unlikely) it will look at lot like spam and may not make it to its destination.
