Skip the template choice when editing a region

Hi everyone,

When an editor creates a new page, there are several regions to be edited. When he starts editing, the editor has to choose what template the region uses. I would like to skip this step and force the region to listen to a certain template, so that the editor can't make a mistake.

Does anyone know if there is a way I can do that?
