HTML in email templates

Hello,

I have a Perch form that collects data in a textarea, so people can put things on multiple lines (eg their address).

When I include that field in my Email template, I see a <br> after each new line. Is there a way to avoid this? Should I be using encode="false" on the field in my email template?
