Just a quick one, I'd quite like a feature where the client can replace assets like PDF's as they can get updated often and need to be changed but keeping a permanent link to the file is really important.

Do you care about caching in this instance? e.g. would it be a problem for someone to get an outdated version of the file because the name hasn't changed?
I see how that could be a problem, In this particular instance not really the changes are usually pretty minor.
But I can see how this could be a problem in the future.
You could always use a technique similar to the secure file delivery in the Members app to provide a custom URL and control all the caching headers. You can do that now - you don't need support from Perch.
