License key isn't valid

I'm getting the error after deleting an ancient version of Perch and installing a fresh version.

Sorry, your license key isn't valid for this domain.
Log into your Perch account and add the following as your live or testing domain: www.foleymusic.net

In my license settings page I have the live domain set as: www.foleymusic.net

Have double checked the license key number.

Remove the www.

The www is correct if that is how you access the domain.

In this case the license you have is a Perch 1 license and you are trying to use it with a Perch 2 install.

Is there a way to upgrade from Perch 1 to 2?

I mean to update the license so it's valid with Perch 2? I don't need any of the Perch 1 content so I just deleted it and started again from scratch with Perch 2.

Perch 1 was end-of-lifed over a year ago. We don't have a method of updating Perch 1 licenses at this point https://grabaperch.com/blog/archive/end-of-the-road-for-perch-1

In Drew's message above he says the upgrade from 1 to 2 can still be done?

If you have a Perch 2 license, you can technically update a Perch 1 site to Perch 2 using the instructions I posted.

We don't have a discounted license upgrade available any more - you'd need a new Perch 2 license.

OK thanks.
