Fatal error on Perch site

I have a website that was working yesterday but is now showing this error:

Fatal error: Class 'mysqli' not found in /data01/c8193828/public_html/perch/core/lib/PerchDB_MySQLi.class.php on line 27

I am trying to find out from hosts if anything has changed, but does this error give any clues?

I have also re-uploaded the core, but no change.

I would guess a PHP version change - and that version doesn't include the mysqli or pdo libraries, for some odd reason...

Make sure you have PDO installed and you should be fine.

Thanks both. As suspected the host was 'rolling out some new features to CPanel' and this is a symptom of that. Beautiful.
