Form submissions in spam folder

The enquiries form (using the forms app) for our clients website has been working without problems for 2 years.

All of a sudden, all genuine enquiries are now going into the Spam folder and not reaching the client. I have no idea why - and no changes have been made to the site since this happened.

I have actually just noticed that the Akismet API key is giving an error in Perch.

'Sorry, Akismet API key does not appear to be correct.'

...could this be the cause of the problem?

It could be! Is the key still valid?

Im just checking that out with the client - I'll report back on the outcome. Thanks

So yes, the Akismet subscription had stopped. Got a new API key. All fine now.

Thank you
