Editor can't add 'events'

I've upgraded a site to the latest version of Perch and my user with role of 'Editor' can't add Events. I have checked the two priveleges under 'Events' namely 'Access events' and 'Manage events'. In my admin role I can of course do everything as normal.

Is there something obvious going on here?

Dear Montgomery, thank you very much, appreciated.

It magiacally did the trick however a bit bemused now. Do I leave these two lines of code in the config file or remove them again. It all seems a bit black magic :)

And... why does it apply to events and not, say, 'blog'?

Cheers - Mark
