Upgrade: Bug to note - resources deleted
Just an FYI and warning to others, when we upgraded Perch from 2.7.4 recently to 2.7.8 all the assets in our resources folder were deleted. I know you say to backup DB, and the image reference is still in template, but the assets are just gone... I checked CMS "ASSETS" and also via FTP. Very strange, never had this issue before when doing other upgrades.
FYI - we just updated the core folder.
Perch: 2.7.8, PHP: 5.4.36, MySQL: 5.5.40, with MySQLi Server OS: Linux, cgi-fcgi Installed apps: content (2.7.8), assets (2.7.8), categories (2.7.8), perch_blog (4.5.4), perch_events (1.9)
Further on this, if we tried to update the image that had gone missing, the upload would not have a preview... and would not work. So we had to remove the image reference all together in the template and re-upload image.
Would you be able to send me a copy of your pre-update database backup?

Yes, thanks - we made some changes in 2.7.9 to hopefully address the issue.
