Add Event not available under user role

Hi Guys

I have the events app running on a site and have different user roles set.

Under the role being used the user is unable to see the add event button on the events page. It works when logged in as admin but not as the role I have set up. In the role set up both options are ticked in relation to events (Access events and Manage categories). Is there something else that needs to be checked to allow them to add events?

Thanks

Neil
