Old version Perch compatible with PHP 5.6?

I've a client website which hasn't it's CMS updated for a long time (for several reasons). Currently it has Perch 2.4.9.. The hosting provider is going to upgrade PHP to version 5.6. Will this cause any issues?

I know, it should be best to upgrade Perch, but that may not be possible in short time.

You would need to test it locally to check, we don't offer support for out of date versions of the software so we couldn't confirm either way. Updating should be straightforward and we would suggest that you do that at the same time.
