Cross-linking a gallery with other pages

What is the best way (if at all possible) to cross-link a gallery with other pages on the site? I have an area of the site and for each page I want to pull in a corresponding gallery defined in the Gallery App.

How best then to 1) cross-link the gallery (i.e. assign it to a page), and 2) display the album items on the page? This should ideally be easy for clients to do via a field-type or similar and to apply to dynamically generated pages.

Thoughts/suggestions appreciated. Sorry if it's obvious, my Perch is a rusty!
