Assets gone missing

Hi

Is there any reason my assets could be disappearing?

I can see the image as a preview when editing my collection item, but it doesn't appear on my site and in my assets anymore? This has just started happening across my site. The link is present in the output but no image in the resources folder anymore.

Which version are you running? Was it a new install or an update? Can I see your extended diagnostics report?

Also can i ask, why in some cases does it present the assets pain and in others simply a file upload when adding an image. This is a new install.

Ok. as i was loosing img's by the refresh pretty much i cleared out my resources folder and also removed all the rows from perch2_resources in my db. i have now completely instated every img so i shall monitor from now.

Can you show me the template tags for those with and without the asset panel?

Its the same template. However sometimes the asset panel doesn't show but only image upload. I'd like to do some more testing myself first as i know that when adding a new item i must save it first then after the initial save i can use assets rather than file upload.
