A few questions about the Events App

Hi,

I'd like to add an events section to a Perch Runway website, and I'm wondering if I should use the events app or create a collection to manage the events instead?

I'll need to associate events with other content, either using relationships or categories. Are there any limitations related the Events app that I should be aware of?

Is the Events app still in active development?

If I decide to use a collection to manage the events, is it possible to hide past events automatically - or perhaps move them to a past events list?

Don't use the Events app unless you need a dedicated monthly calendar grid display.

Yes, you can do that with a basic filter.
