Managing paid subscriber content
We have a customer that we'd like to bring over to Perch. He runs a site that has private subscriber content for which he bills an annual fee to access.
We would like to create a solution that integrates with Authorize.net and performs recurring billing with advance notification, and allows access to the content depending on whether or not the subscriber has an active, paid account.
His current system also sends out 60, 30 and 15 day advance reminders of an expiring subscription, and 7-day post-expiration reminders.
Is this doable with Perch or Perch Runway?
It depends on how much coding you're prepared to do. Perch will act as a basis for that, but won't do everything you describe out of the box.
Excellent. Coding isn't a problem. We just need to know what we need to code and what is "out of the box."
The payment gateway integration and scheduled emailing will need to be implemented. The membership access can be handled by the Members add-on.
