Creating List of Last X Pages Created

We use Navigation Groups to automatically produce lists of pages related to different Groups, for example when we create a new page related to 1941, we click that Group and the new page automatically appears in our List of Pages Related to 1941.

This is a very useful aid to navigation around our site of many thousands of pages.

We would like to extend this idea to produce a new List called List of Last X Pages Created. This would allow regular readers to quickly see the most recent pages added.

Is this possible?

If we can't select X pages, then can we produce a list of all pages in descending order of creation date, so the newest is always first?
