One perch installation for 1 language and 2 Domains (Austria and Germany) - What...

Hello,

I'm working on a project for a customer in Austria (https://lifebeton.at) which has a sales rep in Germany (https://www.lifebeton-deutschland.de). I should redesign their website. So I suggested to publish mainly on the .at-domain and redirect the users depending on their location to seperate contact pages. I would also show german users the german contact infos in the header and footer as the austrian infos to users from this country.

The point where I struggle now is how to get setup and running with this project. Any suggestions? Is this possible from the licensing aspect of perch.

Hopefully I explained my issue clear enough.

Hi Daniel,

This should be possible. From what I can tell from your description, your Perch licence would be for lifebeton.at

I'm not sure how easy it would be to 'detect' where the visitor is coming from automatically, so I would simply use the method for 'languages' here to allow users to choose their location, which can then show them the correct header and footer and contact page links.

If you have a single site with both domains pointed to it then that's one license. If you have two sites, with two admin areas then that needs two licenses.

If you are looking for a multiple language solution for a single site we have docs here https://docs.grabaperch.com/perch/building/how-do-i-create-a-multilingual-site/
