Port used for sending email from Perch.

Can anyone tell me what port Perch uses for sending out email from the CMS?

I'm setting up Perch on a client's hosting platform and trying to reset the password – it's not sending an email to me.

Their IT dept. have given me some suggestions but have asked me to find out
