Perch Members API

Hey,

I'm looking to create a platform for a client, using Perch as a data provider via an API. The platform will require authentication, ideally, I'd like to use the Members app.

Is there a public API for this, any suggestions of implementation for this? I've worked with OAuth auth systems before, but wondering if we can do something simpler with Perch Members.

Members doesn't implement OAuth, no.

Of course not, but is their a public API to allow for authentication?

If not, is it possible/recommended?

Yes, you can implement custom authenticators for Members.
