Cannot log in anymore after upgrading from 1.8.4 to 2.8.34

Hi,

I needed to upgrade a client Website I made years ago that was still using 1.8.4 (even 1.7.1 when I first looked into it). I upgraded to v.2.8.34 and now it won't let me log in any more, saying "Sorry, your license key isn't valid for this domain." Since I've downloaded the version 2.8.34 directly from the license details page, I was assuming the 1.x license was still valid for the v2.8.x Version?

What am I missing?

Hi Tobias,

I have paid a ‘single licence upgrade’ of €20 for upgrading from Perch 1 to version 2.

So this is maybe why your licence isn’t valid anymore. It needs an upgrade.

Do you have a new license key? Perch 2 license keys begin with P2
