The single region page details tab problems

I have seen around the forum a few people mentioning the issue with single region pages and accessing the page details / settings tabs (I do agree, it confused me initially). I know this was also in response to feedback from surveys. Would it be an idea to add this to the settings area, alongside the other controls for 'Pages', for people to choose leaving the default as it is?
