Perch Shop mailing list signup
Good afternoon,
We have a recent Perch shop install and the customer would like to ask new users registering and purchasing if they'd like to opt-in to marketing messages when they make a purchase (on the create an account/pay as a guest form). Is there any way I can read this data out - can I add it as an field for 'Member' in Perch or get the data out some other way? Customer just needs to find out who's happy to receive messages in future.

You could add a tag to the member, or you could use a cart property a la https://docs.grabaperch.com/addons/shop/examples/order-confirmation/
Thanks Drew - can I pass a tag through with the registration form itself or is it more complex than that?
I think you'll need to do it at the success step.
