Collection Not Appearing under Regions

Hello,

I have a page in my website where I selected the option to manage a collection from this page. When I view the pages listing in the admin control panel, I see don't see the region for that page. I see the collection included and listed in the page regions once I've selected the page, but shouldn't the Collection also be listed under the page's regions in the page listing section?

It's a bit confusing because it appears that the collection isn't there to edit when viewing from the pages listing, and in order to access the collection, users have to include an extra click to go to the page first to be able to see the collection listed under regions and select it to begin editing.

Is this something intentional with collections?
