Perch dropouts when updating

Hi

I have a site that is growing quickly, database is around 200meg and about 100 individual pages with 2000 or so if you include the list and detail pages.

My client is constantly getting kick out of the perch admin whilst updating old content and adding new content.

There local internet speed is fine but they are on shared cloud hosting, Do you have any experiance on these sort of issues or do they need to move to a vps solution

Regards

Brett

Are they opening up multiple browser windows onto the Perch control panel?

They say they only have the one open, makes no difference what browser they are using.

Is there anything in your server error log?

Hi Drew

Its shared hosting so there are no logs, i can install software but am unsure whta. its linux based.

I have turned on debug but get no errors and when it kick's me out there is no debug at all.

Hi

Is there any tools you know of to optimize the database?

It's usually possible to get logs on shared hosting (if you really can't then I'd be moving hosts).

See this, and there are other suggestions in the comments https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2011/11/30/a-guide-to-php-error-messages-for-designers/
