move perch installation to a different directory

hi all together,

for some reasons i have to move my perch installation into another subfolder of my site. it is already in a subfolder now, but has to move to another one.

is it enough to change the path in the config/config.php or do i need to make more adjustments?

You'll then need to click the Republish button to make sure paths are updated in your cached content.

thanks Drew for your reply. where is the "Republish"-button? can you outline the best practice to do this in steps?

In the control panel, go to the default Pages section. Republish is on the smartbar, at the right hand side.

thanks - found it ;-)

does this sums it up correctly?

  1. move whole site (including perch directory) into new subfolder
  2. change PERCH_LOGINPATH in /perch/config/config.php to new location
  3. log into perch backend at new location
  4. press REPUBLISH
