Hello, I have updated a site from Perch 2.7.10 to 2.8.8 and all appears fine until I do this

" If updating from <2.8, copy over the perch/addons/plugins/editors/markitup folder to update the MarkItUp editor."

At which point I loose the formatting bar completely. If I revert to the old markitup folder the old coloured 80's style icons return.

Do you get any errors in your browser console?

No errors in console but even better than that having left it for a few hours the formatting bar has appeared. Could it have been caching something? I pressed refresh loads of times! I think I need to learn to walk away and come back to a problem before I use the forum. Thanks for your help anyway.

It does sound like browser caching.
