perch_blog_tags and sections?

We have a typical blog and are planning to use sections to use the Blog App for our news releases. We currently use Simon Clays News App which is a modified version of your Blog App.. We will have tags defined for both blog sections. My questions is when we use the Perch command perch_blog_tags on a webpage, is there a method to only have it output the tags used in a particular blog section?
