Perch 3 requires a newer version of PHP. We recommend PHP 7, but the very minimum is PHP 5.4. The download page has the current requirements listed.
Server requirements Your web server needs to support the following minimum requirements to run Perch.
PHP 5.4 with PDO (or mysqli), cURL, JSON GD or ImageMagick for image processing MySQL 5.0
