Is it possible to integrate perch into CDN?

I currently use a CDN (Content Delivery Network) for images which can only be used for static content (no server side magic) is it possible to have the static part of Perch such as images for say the gallery stored on the CDN and Perch installed on a separate hosting server, so when a new image is uploaded it automatically gets put on the CDN?

This is likely to be a feature of Perch Runway, our upcoming product for larger sites. We're not planning to include it in standard Perch at the moment.
