Page Attribute control of entire page

Hi,

I've created a Page Attribute where someone can select if the page is a White or Black page. With their choice I change a stylesheet, but I also need to change the odd thing here or there like an image, so it loads it from the white directory rather than the black directory. For example an image in a 'Layout'.

I've looked a few possible ways to do this but none seem that clean, what does everyone think is the best way to do this?
