No, thanks drew.

Drew, if updating the Blog app to 4.1 is a requirement of using Perch 2.5 that REALLY needs to be indicated in your upgrade instructions: https://grabaperch.com/update/

UPDATE: I just updated my Perch Core, Blog, and post.html template and at first I thought everything worked fine. What I didn't know was that since I was previously using Redactor, and failed to make that change in the post.html file, ALL of my blog posts added HTML tags. Since I'm unsure of what else has been affected by this upgrade, I reverted back to Perch 2.4.9 and my old Blog app. A list of which Perch Apps, and settings, need to be upgraded and an upgrade procedure for each would be very helpful.

See the section "Updating from a version prior to 4.0": https://docs.grabaperch.com/docs/blog/installation/

That's good, but don't you think there should be a note about this in the Perch 2.5 Update notes or do I just need to remember to check the notes for every Perch app I have installed prior to updating the Perch core?

Is the Blog app the only one that needs to be updated to support Perch 2.5?

Drew, what should the new Blog code be if I want to use Redactor instead of MarkItUp?

Hi Kelly - there is no change you just need to be up to date. If you have a problem however please start your own thread rather than jumping on someone elses. The new forum allows us to mark things as solved, which may mean new responses get missed.

Okay, will do. Thanks.
