Events Calendar, Sunday first day

I would like to have the events calendar showing SMTWTFS, rather than MTWTFSS as it shipped.

Is there a way to change this? The school website is a Seventh-day Adventist School and having a calendar that ends with Sunday as the 7th day just isn't working out to well.
