Page Delete or Multi Region Delete

Often when developing sites, especially larger more complex sites, I am adding / removing pages and amending templates frequently. Sometimes these pages may consists of multiple regions, such as a tabbed content area and accordions etc. It is extremely time consuming to have to delete individual content regions before I can delete page, even if this was an option available to admins only, or some kind of developer setting, it would make life much, much easier.
