Adding Perch to an existing site without deleting old content

Hi, I am a Perch newbie and just following the Swift Migrations tutorial and in this the old content of the website is deleted and replaced with Perch tags. However, I would like to keep my existing text and image paths, etc as the initial input for each field. Is this possible? Thanks, Mike.

You'd need to copy and paste it into your new regions. It can't be imported because you need to decide what content goes in which field.
