upgrade from Perch 2.0.4 to current... issues?
Client has been on 2.0.4 for ages with no problems, on a plain content site with no additional apps. If we upgrade Perch to latest, what issues do we need to address and what is best path to take?
I'm thinking there have been a number of innovations such as 'resources' etc...

The only thing that comes to mind is that the template engine got stricter about malformed tags - so if you have sloppy tags those could stop working.
Otherwise you should be fine. Make good backups and do it in your dev or staging environment first!
thanks Drew - so just replace the 'core' directory with latest version (and also latest version of markitup and any other editor) and good to go?
I don't think my tags are sloppy!
We also changed the PHP minimum requirements, so make sure you're on at least PHP 5.3, but ideally 5.6 or 7.
