markup/textarea and separate lines

Hi, I'm using template with:

<perch:content id="serviceTextArea5" label="Text" type="textarea"  editor="markitup" markdown="true" />

enter (separate lines in perch form):

Consultation with our Senior Stylist.
Regrowth Colour Tint.
Sachajuan Hair Treatment.
Cut and Blow Dry.
Express Manicure and Pedicure.

gives (on web page): 

Consultation with our Senior Stylist. Regrowth Colour Tint. Sachajuan Hair Treatment. Cut and Blow Dry. Express Manicure and Pedicure.

enter:

Consultation with our Senior Stylist.

Regrowth Colour Tint.

Sachajuan Hair Treatment.

Cut and Blow Dry.

Express Manicure and Pedicure.

gives: ( double line spacing ):
Consultation with our Senior Stylist.

Regrowth Colour Tint.

Sachajuan Hair Treatment.

Cut and Blow Dry.

Express Manicure and Pedicure.

I want single line spacing e.g.:

Consultation with our Senior Stylist. 
Regrowth Colour Tint.
Sachajuan Hair Treatment.
Cut and Blow Dry.
Express Manicure and Pedicure.

Either:

Allow html in the textarea tag (html="true") and put in <br> tags at the end of each line

Or:

Set margin-bottom to 0 for your paragraphs ;) !

Oh I forgot that you can add 2 spaces at the end of a line to insert a br linebreak. Just tried it in Perch and it works.
