In deleting addresses

Hello, I noticed today that production database is full of testing addresses. Found here that shop doesn't delete data because it would invalidate the history. Given that my site even though it is in production it has no valid shop history, is it a problem if I manually delete the entries (orders, addresses and customers) directly in the database?
